Default Brood motor "break in"

I was going to beak in my 35t apocalypse type r/t by running them in water like many people have explained how to do. But I thought I would ask Eddie if he had a way that he would suggest on his motors. I'm a newbe so this might be dumb question but I would like to treat these motors nice and make them last. And also I wired every thing up to see if every thing was good and man these 35t are QUICK on 3s! I'm used to the speed of my Losi.

Eddie breaks-in all his motors before he ships them out.
Bolt it in and run it!

Please don't ever use the water break in method on a motor. It's an old trick used on motors we don't even run anymore. There is NO reason to do it with the motors we used now a days.

The last two types of people that used water break in, was the silver can racers and the slot car guys.....neither of them do anymore either.

I know the traxxas forums and such promote it, but they are simply poorly informed.

As JB stated, all my stuff already comes broken in. He has seen me do it himself in person....

5 minutes or so at 3 volts. Check the brushes, if they are still not seated, run again for a minute and check again. Repeat until seated.
