Hey there! Just introducing myself, I'm Daniel. I live in the north Burien area near Shorewood. I was a hardcore RC guy during the 80's and 90's and just now getting back into it. Interested in trail and scale rigs. I think I'm leaning towards the scale end of things. I currently have an MST CMX, but planning on purchasing an RC4WD Gelande II kit this fall and diving in headfirst. My wife and I have a 2 year old son and I thought what a great excuse to get back into RC, I'm sure he's gonna be hooked once he's old enough to really get it.

Looking forward to getting out to some events as time allows and locally more often. And in general hope to meet up with folks who have similar interests to learn from and find good places to drive/crawl...

If anyone is in my area and wants to meet up or share places to drive let me know!

Thanks!

Hi, My name is Adam AKA Shipwreck

Just baught my first crawler last week, SCX 10 II RTR. I was into R/C with some Navy buddies in the 90's, we built some kits but mostly enjoyed building custom stuff, like R/C powerwheels tractor puller, and stadium truck with a weed wacker motor. When I left that environment I left R/C. Only recently I looked back into R/C and found the advances that have been made and I love the scale rock crawler idea. I play Spintires on steam and this looks like it will be fun. I hope to get out with some people soon. playing with others is always more fun.

Hello, first post here, I was introduced to scale crawling about 8 months ago. I knew I was hooked from the start. I finally pulled the trigger on a Traxxas TRX-4. It took awhile to arrive, but I finally received it a few days ago. I hope to meet other people at events and meet ups. So far I've just been crawling in the holes my dog digs in the back yard.

I also play Spintires. It's fun, but RC is was cooler!

Hi guys, I'm Eric from Snoqualmie. I met a few of you at a recent U4 race at Keechelus.. it was my first ever RC race and it was a blast! I'm also pretty new to RC in general. I bought a cheapo crawler for my toddler last Christmas and I had so much fun with it that I figured I'd get myself a "real" one - an RTR Bomber. It's been so much fun and am looking forward to lots more crawling and racing!

Default Story of a Bronco

Hi guys! My name is Bart. I'm a 34 yo home builder living in Seattle on beacon hill. I'm a lifetime Washington resident that's traveled all over but never plan on leaving this beautiful state. When I was a much yunger fellow I had an 89 ford bronco w an 8" lift on 44" super swampers. Used to love togo 4x4 on weekends & beat up my truck. As fun as that was the time and expense of fixing said truck became too much with everything else I had going on in life and my bronco wasnt getting the attention she deserved. I had to let her go to someone that could pamper her like I couldn't. (You know what they say about if you love something let it go and if its meant to be it will come back to you)

Well I was really missing those 4x4 weekends so I started watching crawling YouTube videos and there is an abundance of rc scale truck videos and I instantly fell in love all over again! I started reserching every little thing about scale trucks. I was going to get one the $ was already spent as far as I was concerned I just had to choose my first truck. After hours of research and many long nights of going over what I thought would be best for a beginner like me I was torn between the axial 10.2 and the TRS4 land Rover. I still hadnt fully made up my mind when I stepped threw the doors of the hobby town in Redmond WA and almost couldnt believe my eyes! traxxas had just released a bronco Version of the TRS4. With a shorter wheel base and a lighter body without all heavy stuff on top to tip it over. I was the happiest boy in all of Washington that day. Ive been immersing myself in the hobby ever since.

I was googling around today to see if anyone had posted cool trails around me when I stumled upon this site. Just wanted to extend my appreciation for whoever created and manages it because it is a treasure trove of great info!

I apologize for the super long post. I'm stoked to be here and I promise to contribute any sweet spots I find. I move all over the seattle area for work and I'll keep my eyes peeled!! Thanks again for having me fellas!!
