Default WARCRC Scale Event Info: Event Agenda and Truck Info

First off, just want to welcome you to WARCRC if you haven't been to event before. WARCRC is a family friend type of environment and drugs/alcohol are not tolerated at events. Thanks!

I would also like to state, if your scale truck isn't 100% in line with the rules, we will still let you run. We don't turn anyone away unless you have a nitro or a blimp. If you have any questions, feel free ask in the Facebook group or this forum or even email us at WARCRC.CLUB@gmail.com.

Event Schedule:
  • 10:00AM: Driver check in
    • Check in at the table, ensure your trucks has been properly identified to run there specific class.
    • Prior to the event you will get your scale points assigned but if not, we will calculated how many scale points you have at the table.
  • 10:20AM: Group Photo
    • Because group photos are fun.
  • 10:25AM: Concours (aka Truck Show)
    • Will all the trucks out for the group photo, five awesome scale detailed trucks will be picked out of the group and all the drivers at the event will voted who is the top five. Each of the five winners will receive a laminated trophy.
  • 10:30AM: Drivers meeting to quickly go over rules and share info
  • 10:35AM: Class One and Class Two courses open.
    • There are the month common classes, so they run first.
  • 12:30AM: Class Three courses open.
    • Class Three is ran last because have six full courses put out at once is too many gates to have out and some locations can't fit all 6 courses.
  • End of Event: The event normally lasts till 1pm-3pm.
What type of courses will be at the event?
  • Each of the three classes(C1/C2/C3) will have two courses to drive through. Each course will have a total of 10 gates to drive through.

Below is a "quick breakdown" on the types of course penalites you can get while driving on the course.

*Key point, scores on a scale course are like a game of golf, you are trying to end with the lowest score.

Hitting gates are a big thing, they are +10 points. If you are going to hit a gate, use a reverse penalty, it's only +1, cheaper right?

WARCRC follows all SORRCA.com rules, view full rules here:

Here is the WARCRC "Scale Points" sheet that will be used when your truck is teched in at WARCRC Scale Competitions(SORRCA RULES). For new folks looking at this it can be a lot to take in but Scale Points are there to keep the trucks looking scale and influence builders to create some really fun looking trucks. Scale points reduce your final score for the day and we highly suggest you at least check it out because it will help you place highly in the results. 🙂 View full Scale Points PDF sheet here>>> https://drive.google.com/file/d/1G3y...ew?usp=sharing

CLASS ONE Max Scale Points: 60PTS
CLASS TWO Max Scale Points: 50PTS
CLASS THREE Max Scale Points: 50PTS
