Default 6-cell vs. 8-cell

just wondering shy my 6 cell has more punch and power than my 8cell ,and the 8 cell is almost new (reedy hump pack) and the other 6 cell is intellect????????? cheap cells or what???

intel cells have very high voltage per cell, usually a 6 cell will blow away a cheaper 7 cell like a venum. also you could have a bad cell in your 8-cell pack :confused:

yea I'd have to say a bad cell in the eightcell pack... have you checked the 2 with a voltmeter?

No I haven't checked with voltmeter yet ,but do they sometimes come with bad cells fairly new??

All you have to do is run down a battery pack to far once to cause a cell to reverse. Some times a pack just has a weak cell though.... my 7 year old daughter is realy good at killin batteries for me... :thumbsup: :thumbsup: If you have an 8 cell you should be able to find the bad cell with a volt meter once you remove the shrink wrap, it and still run the pack as a 7-cell

Using those little 2/3A packs in this application is really beyond their intended scope of use, and they are really somewhat fragile by design anyways. As a result, they will be a little inconsistent and unreliable.
