did my first onroad race last night. well kinda. lol. they gave me a loaner car. tt01 pos. ultra slow. i had it pinned the whole time. ran by myself as there were no others in the novice class. lol. the car is so slow that they wouldnt put me in with any of the faster classes just so i didnt get run over or got in the way. hell even in practice i had to get out of the way constantly. lol still had a good time and i think ill be fairly fast once i get my car up and running. still waiting on tires, rims,, motor and batteries. still trying to sell my stick radio to fund the batteries.

just finished up my body for this rig. 70 AAR Cuda. hpi body. im going to be running it in the vintage trans am class. everybody runs the same treaded vintage hpi tires, vintage wheels, vintage body, any chassis and a 2 cell lipo. must make minimum weight i think its like 1500+ grams. should be fun. not a terribly fast class but the guys say its really fun. i watched last time and there is another cuda thats red and it looks really good cruising around the track. ill try to upload a pic my phone being a terd.

Hmmm, drifting. Something I enjoy very much. Nice looking car you have there.

thanks. the body is slowly getting beat up. lol. the nose now has tape holding it together. i kinda figured it would get beaten up. i have another waiting to be painted. unfortunately this car will no be a drifter. strictly a racing car only. aaaand i picked up another car sat. tamiya f104 f1 car. some spares (though theres not much to the car) front and rear wings. 4 full sets of new tires in various compounds and one set of very used outdoor tires that are hard as rocks lol. car is rtr just add my receiver. ill post up some pics of it later. i really like the road racing thing. i did it in the past and loved it. glad im back into it. im still fast enough to be in the a main so i guess i still got it. lol. dont worry though i wont give up my scaler. im going for points this year.
