I just check with the 2014 WARCRC Scale Comp Rules (SORRCA).
and it shows "cage must have down bars and cross bars in front and behind each row". well, I just want to make sure how we count the "roll cage" ![]()

Assuming you are looking at this from a points perspective....I dont read anywhere in the rules it states the bars need to be vertical. The 2nd row is clearly being protected and a "down" bar is present. If vertical was the intent a fair amount of the builds would not receive points due to the B pillar. And 99 percent would not get them due to the A pillar not being vert.
Did you buy the rig David ?

After all these years watching this rig and admiring it, I am finally the proud owner! Little bit if tlc and clean up and we'll be on the trails! Such great build, very well thought out! Added wheels and tires, now working on getting electronics in. 1.55 cncs and pitbull rock beasts, have berserkers on order for a little more height.

Time for an update!
Got some miles on this a while ago, Joey set this thing up great for comps but the longer trail runs with the tcase setup for the amount of over drive got the motor nice and warm and just wasnt where I wanted it. Got a HPI gear reduction unit and a spare 4mm upgraded shaft to modify. Time to wire and after almost a year im dying to get this back out locally where it belongs! ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk |

Getting wired up this weekend! Castle micro X, holmes 2040kv out runner, hitech 7950.. should be pretty smooth and light! Will obviously be cleaned up but just test fitting locations.
