Default Build/ Re-build

Figured I would toss up some pics and specs from my rebuild of my 2.2 comp rig. Mucho better now  . First I would like to thank Jason, Larry and god to making this possible LOLZ  :finger:

Specs:

JPC1 chassis and axle plates
Bent revo lower links, all thread uppers w/ revo ends
Tyler V spools
Tekin FX-R
CC BEC
Axial Trans w/ VF dig
MIP front drive shaft and shortened MIP in rear (Thunder Tech)
Losi crawler shocks
35t motor
3S lipo
futaba S9156 steering servo
hitec 5645 dig servo
weighted MSD top gun wheels
Panther tires

I wanted to raise the ground clearance up so as of now on the panthers I sit just under 3 in. May be swapping to the HPI tires to get it up a little more. The flex is just over the height of a panther tire.

Looks pretty cool, but you need about twice that much flex

Yea learned about too much flex with my last chassis  Im liking how it runs with the limited flex. Ran Jasons chassis for a hour or so and its limited to about the same. Handles really well.

Too much flex can land one of your tires lodged down in a hole between rocks. I had this problem at the comp @ 3 friends and problems with too low of wheel speed. I really think its not just the flex that hurt me but accompanied with the 1 lb per wheel weight added to the lack of movement to get the wheel back out of the hole.

oh i see well in comps are you allowed to run a elmitor straps so your tires dont drop to that point or are straps not even worth the time other then that how would you fix the problem, stiffer spring and storter shock or what the only problem i have had so for is my tires hit my body and it pots out my drive line..........

you can use fuel tube on the shaft of your shocks to limit them.
