Default My Super Build

Here is the start of the "D-Team" Super. Torsion chassis like what Grover runs, only shorter.
Made the adjustable motor mounts today.

Installed both motors.

Pretty new wheels with some lightly used Moab XL's

Had to work till 11 this morning then had the rest of the afternoon to work on the super.
I used a bunch of the links off of all my old 2.2's for steering links.
I just had to see it move under it's own power. So I picked up an 8711 for the front steering and used one of the Hitec 5955's for the rear.

I still need to make a battery mount plate.
Permanently mount the electronics.
Paint and mount the body.
Finish putting the screws in the rear beadlocks.
Need aluminum servo horns for front/rear.
Second esc would also be nice.
Need to play around with weight bias. Right now there is no added weight to the rig other than what it took to build it.

It's ready to go. I've always wanted to do this paint scheme.

You bet. I think Tim and I are leaving at 4:30 am. All signed up for 2.2 and Super. I'm pretty excited for my first super runs. Ya'll have to salute my truck now! ;-)

Well the super proved to be way too wide(and I need to practice) so I did a little modifying to the Integy hex adapters. It was at 16" but now at 14". Hopefully this will help. I'll be running it again at Lucia on Sunday.
