oh i see so it restricts how much the shock compresses the right

yes and you can also put it on the inside of the shock to limit the up travel and the over all height of the shock

everyone is different and everyone drives different and no one has the same truck.

Build your truck, DRIVE your truck and dial it in as you go.
Don't build your truck on the Internet.
What works for some won't work for others.
Dialing your rig in is important and takes me a lot longer than building my truck.
Driving your truck is the only way to know what is going to work.
Build you rig and go to as many GTG as you can.
Learn stuff from the Veterans @ GTG

thnks for all the input! today i went to the kent brigde with devlin and randy it was only the three of us but i learned alot and had a blast and the more i learn the more i'm going to do. but once i go back to work i'm going to turn my axial 10 into a scaler and go from there. hopefully the snow will melt enough so i can i'll try to post pics of my 75 dollar crawler soon

i frigure i would start there then next year build a 2.2 comp but i want to learn as much as i can

Both are quite diffrent in set up and design. Scalers are cool tho, have fun.
